But not only are these lights fun and entertaining, they are just really good lights. The lighting element consists of 24 individual LED light chips. And the technology of the LED chips is COB (chip on board), which is extremely bright and efficient, conserving battery life.
The lights are USB-rechargeable. A USB charging cable is included. Full charging time for the 250 mAh polymer lithium battery is about 1.5 hours. A silicone plug covers the charging port when not in use.
This unique bike light emits red light and is waterproof.
The light attaches to your seat post with a Velcro strap (included). A silicone pad on the mounting base of the light enables you to tighten the strap so the light won't move. And the pad minimizes vibration to the light.
There are 5 light modes:
- solid bright
- solid dim
- fast flash
- slow flash
- strobe
Operation:
- A short squeeze of the round button on the side of the unit turns on the light.
- Each successive short push progresses the light to the next light mode.
- A long push turns the light off.
The light weighs 28 g (about 1 ounce) including the strap.
The size of entire light varies between the two models.
The bone light dimensions are 2.2 inches wide, 1.9 inches high and 2.2 inches front to back (5.6 cm x 4.9 cm x 5.7 cm). The lighting surface is 2.2 inches wide by 1.1 inches high by 0.1 inches thick (5.6 cm x 2.8 cm x 0.2 cm).
